Not every load fits a 48×40. Machinery, printing, glass, aerospace and specialty manufacturing all run footprints that stock pallets can't safely carry. We design to the load: deck coverage, board thickness, stringer count, way of entry (two-way vs four-way), and chamfered leads for smooth jack access are all specified to your product's weight and handling profile.

Remanufacturing is the circular twist. Instead of milling virgin lumber, we assemble custom pallets from graded reclaimed boards recovered on our disassembly line. The result meets your spec and load rating while carrying a dramatically lower embodied footprint — and usually a lower price — than a new-build equivalent.

Need export units? We can build to ISPM-15 heat-treatment requirements and stencil accordingly so your freight clears customs without a phytosanitary headache. Tell us the destination and we'll spec compliance in from the start.

The design starts with the load, not the pallet. We ask what the product weighs, how it sits, how it will be handled (forklift, pallet jack, or both), whether it stacks, and where it is going. From there we specify board thickness, stringer or block construction, deck coverage, entry type, and fastener pattern to carry the load without over-building. A machine that concentrates weight on two points needs a different deck than a drum of liquid or a stack of boxes, and getting that right prevents both product damage in transit and the waste of paying for lumber the load does not need.

We can add features like corner blocks, runner reinforcement, notched stringers for banding, and specific hand-hold or label placements. Define the load

We capture product weight, dimensions, handling method, stacking, and destination. The load requirements drive every construction decision, not the other way around.

Engineer the spec

We specify board thickness, stringer or block construction, deck coverage, entry, and fasteners to carry the load without over-building. Export needs and special features are designed in here.

Build and approve a prototype

We build a sample for you to test-fit and load-test before committing to volume. Once it passes, the spec is locked and documented as repeatable.

Quote and schedule production

We quote production quantities and set a firm lead time based on volume and complexity. Ongoing programs get scheduled builds with the design held on file.

Produce, inspect, and deliver

Pallets are built to the locked spec, inspected against it, and delivered on the committed date. Reorders come out identical to the approved prototype.

Dimensions and lumber volume

Larger footprints and heavier decks use more board feet and cost more. The size and coverage the load actually needs set the baseline price.

Load rating and construction

Higher weight ratings require thicker boards, more stringers or blocks, and reinforcement. Heavy-duty and stackable designs cost more than light single-use builds.

New versus recovered lumber

Remanufacturing with recovered hardwood is cheaper than all-new material where the spec allows. Specs requiring new lumber throughout carry a higher cost.

Heat treatment and special features

ISPM-15 certification, notches, corner blocks, and other custom features add build steps and cost. Each requested feature is priced into the quote.

Order quantity and reorder status

Larger runs lower the per-pallet cost and prototypes cost more per unit than production volume. Reorders of a design on file are cheaper because the engineering is already done.

What sizes and load ratings can you build?

We build to your exact dimensions and engineer the load rating to your product, well above the standard 2,500 lbs when needed. Oversized machinery skids, narrow footprints, and reinforced stackable designs are all common. Give us the load and we spec the build.

Can you build export-ready custom pallets?

Yes. We build ISPM-15 heat-treated custom pallets so a non-standard or oversized export load clears international customs. The certification is designed in from the start, not added after the fact.

Do I get to test a sample first?
