Buying used pallets should feel like buying new — minus the cost and the felled trees. Our sorting line runs each incoming pallet through a structural check: stringers, deck boards, lead boards and fastener integrity are all inspected before a pallet is graded and racked. Nothing that can't carry a full dynamic load makes it into a sale bundle.
The most requested unit is the 48×40 GMA (Grocery Manufacturers Association) stringer pallet — the workhorse of North American freight. But we routinely stock block pallets, 42×42 drum pallets, 36×36 and a rotating supply of odd sizes pulled from regional retrieval routes. The workhorse we chase hardest is the 48×40 GMA four-way stringer, the standard grocery and CPG footprint that trades in the largest volume in North America. We grade every load on arrival: a #1 pallet has no repairs or only one, straight boards, and clean stringers, while a #2 has multiple repairs, a plugged or companion stringer, and still carries a full 2,500-lb working load. We also pay for #3 and mixed hardwood cores that feed our repair line rather than the chipper.
Pricing is driven by grade, size, quantity, and how much sorting we have to do on our end. A trailer of clean, banded 48×40 #1s pays far more per pallet than a mixed pile of odd sizes, broken units, and off-spec block pallets stacked eight high in a wet dumpster area. We publish live per-pallet ranges by grade and adjust weekly with the recovered-lumber market, so a shipper moving 500 to 3,000 pallets a month gets a real number, not a vague promise. When a customer has consistent weekly volume, we lock a standing price and issue a purchase agreement so accounting can forecast the rebate as recurring revenue.

For manufacturers with steady output we install a trailer program: you load our empty trailer as pallets accumulate, we pull it when full, drop an empty, and cut a check on the counted, graded quantity.
The math only works when the wood is genuinely reusable, so honesty about condition speeds up every deal. We pay top dollar for dry, whole, structurally sound pallets and we still buy damaged and broken cores, just at core pricing, because they feed remanufacturing instead of disposal. Loads soaked by rain, contaminated with chemicals, painted, or loaded with nails and banding scrap get docked or rejected, and we will tell you that up front rather than surprise you at the scale. Photos of a representative stack and a rough count get you a same-day range, and a physical inspection at pickup sets the final settled price.

Send count and photos
You share a rough pallet count, sizes, and a few photos of a representative stack. We return a same-day per-grade price range so you know what the load is worth before we roll a truck.
Grade and quote
We confirm the mix of #1, #2, and core pallets and lock a per-pallet number by grade. For recurring volume we issue a standing purchase agreement instead of quoting each load.
Schedule pickup or trailer drop
We route a box truck for smaller lots or drop a 53-foot trailer for ongoing volume. You pick the window that fits your dock and yard traffic.
Load, count, and inspect
Pallets are loaded and physically counted, and our crew inspects for wet, contaminated, or off-spec units. The verified count and grade set the final settled quantity.
Get paid
We settle by check or ACH on the counted, graded load, typically within agreed net terms. Recurring accounts receive a monthly statement summarizing volume and rebate.

Grade and repair condition

Standard 48×40 GMA stringers command the strongest and most liquid pricing because demand is highest. Odd sizes, block pallets, and oversized units are worth less and sometimes only at core value.

Full truckloads and steady weekly quantities earn better per-unit rates than one-off small piles. Predictable volume lets us commit trailers and lock standing prices.
Sort effort required
Neatly stacked, banded, single-size loads cost us little to handle and pay more. Mixed, tangled piles full of debris and banding scrap require labor to sort and are discounted accordingly.

What is the minimum quantity you will buy?
For a paid pickup we generally want at least a partial truckload, though a single skid can qualify if it fits an existing route. Smaller one-off piles may be handled as a removal instead. Send a count and we will tell you which program fits.
Do you buy broken or damaged pallets?
Yes. We buy structurally damaged and broken hardwood cores at core pricing because they feed our repair and remanufacturing line. They are worth less than reusable #1s and #2s, but they still have value instead of a disposal cost.
How do you determine the price per pallet?
Price is set by grade, size, quantity, sort effort, and the current recovered-lumber market. Standard 48×40 #1s in clean, banded loads earn the top of the range. We confirm the final number by counting and inspecting at pickup.
How quickly do I get paid?
We settle on the counted, graded load by check or ACH within agreed terms, often net 15 to net 30 for recurring accounts. One-time sellers can arrange payment on pickup. Terms are set before the truck arrives.
