EcoPallets

Since 2009

We started a pallet company that hates waste.

In short: EcoPallets Solutions grew from a single Cincinnati sorting yard in 2009 into a full circular loop — buying, repairing, reselling, retrieving and remanufacturing pallets so the same timber keeps working instead of rotting in a landfill.

Here's how we got from a nail gun and a stack of pallets to a national loop.

Who we are

A yard, a belief, and a stubborn refusal to waste wood.

We're a hands-on pallet operation: sorters, repairers, drivers and schedulers who move real timber every day. We don't broker from a spreadsheet — we run the yard, the reboard line and the trucks ourselves, which is why we can promise what we promise.

From Cincinnati we serve the Midwest on regional routes and reach nationwide for larger buy, sell and logistics programs. One relationship covers procurement, disposal and everything between.

The road here

Milestones on the way to a closed loop

2009

Founded in Cincinnati

EcoPallets Solutions opened its doors on Este Avenue with a single sorting line and a mission to keep usable wood out of the landfill. The first customers were local warehouses tired of paying to dump broken pallets.

2011

Repair and remanufacturing line added

We built out a dedicated repair operation so damaged pallets could be rebuilt into like-new #1 and #2 grade units. This let us sell reliable recycled pallets at a fraction of new-lumber prices.

2013

Own hauling fleet launched

We put our own trucks on the road so we could pick up empties and deliver finished pallets on our own schedule. Controlling the freight meant faster turnarounds and free removal for qualifying local loads.

2015

IPPC heat-treatment capability

We became an IPPC-registered facility able to heat-treat and stamp ISPM-15 compliant pallets for export customers. This opened the door to manufacturers shipping product overseas.

2017

Grinding and fiber recovery

We added wood-grinding equipment to turn unrepairable pallets into landscape mulch, animal bedding, and biomass fuel. That closed the loop so nearly the entire pallet stays out of the landfill.

2019

Buyback and closed-loop programs

We formalized buyback and reverse-logistics programs for high-volume warehouses and 3PLs. Customers began recovering value from empties instead of stockpiling them in the yard.

2022

Nationwide delivery network

Through contract carriers we extended reliable delivery beyond the Midwest to recurring national accounts. Larger customers could now standardize their pallet supply across multiple sites.

2024

Sustainability reporting for customers

We began delivering landfill-diversion and CO₂-avoided reporting to managed accounts for their ESG disclosures. Reuse became a documented line item in our customers' sustainability programs.

Why work with us

Eight reasons customers stay for years.

01

Full pallet lifecycle under one roof

We buy, sell, recycle, remanufacture, and haul wood pallets, so you deal with one partner for supply and removal. That single relationship keeps your dock clear and your costs predictable.

02

Honest, consistent grading

Every pallet is inspected and sorted so the grade you order is the grade you receive. We would rather tell you recycled will do the job for less than oversell you a new pallet.

03

Our own hauling fleet

Because we run our own trucks in the Cincinnati region, we control scheduling and offer free removal on qualifying loads. Local deliveries typically go out within 2 to 4 business days.

04

Firm quotes that hold

We quote firm pricing that stays valid for a week in a market that moves daily. You can plan a purchase without worrying the number will change before you approve it.

05

Export-ready compliance

As an IPPC-registered facility we heat-treat and stamp ISPM-15 compliant pallets for international shipments. We confirm the correct treatment and marking before anything leaves the yard.

06

Nothing goes to waste

Unrepairable pallets are dismantled for parts and ground into mulch, bedding, and biomass fuel, while nails are recycled as scrap metal. Diverting that wood is good for your footprint and ours.

07

Custom builds to spec

We build pallets to your exact dimensions, deck configuration, and load rating using new or remanufactured lumber. Send a drawing, a sample, or photos and we will match or improve it.

08

Lean, email-first service

Running quotes and orders by email keeps our overhead low and gives you a written record of every spec and price. Those savings show up directly in the numbers we quote.

What we believe

The principles behind the loop

Waste nothing

We built this company on the belief that a broken pallet is raw material, not trash. Every board, block, and nail has a next use, and we work to find it.

Grade honestly

Our word on grade and condition is the foundation of every order. We inspect carefully and describe pallets plainly so you get exactly what you paid for.

Price fairly

We quote firm, transparent pricing and break down what drives the number. We would rather earn a repeat customer than win one order with an inflated quote.

Show up reliably

Warehouses run on schedules, so we deliver and pick up when we say we will. Dependable turnaround is worth more to our customers than any sales pitch.

Keep it local first

Cincinnati and the Midwest are home, and we invest in serving this region well before we chase distant business. Local roots keep our service personal and our fleet efficient.

Solve the whole problem

Supply is only half the job, so we handle removal, buyback, and recycling too. When you hand us the pallet problem, we take all of it off your plate.
